In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking measures to protect our clients’ health and ourselves. Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, clients will no longer be bringing their pet(s) into the hospital for medical appointments until further notice. Instead of entering our hospital, our staff will be coming outside, to your vehicle, taking any additional pertinent information, and bring your pet(s) in the hospital, where medical services will be provided. Our staff will then return your pet to you, with any needed discharge instructions, invoice and take payment at that time.
If you need prescription(s) or food for your pet(s) please call us to request refills and schedule a pick-up time. We also realize that some of our patients need medically necessary blood work. We will continue to provide these services, but they will need to be scheduled in advance. Furthermore, we will not be providing walk-in services for nail trims or anal gland expressions.
We ask that if anyone in your home has been sick, any time in the last two weeks, that you cancel your appointment. We will gladly schedule your appointment for another time.
Should the need rise, we can offer virtual medicine or telemedicine for our Ohio and West Virginia clients. Please call our office, 740-373-9696, for details.
Unfortunately, we are not in an area where you can call us upon your arrival. When scheduling and confirming appointments, we will be asking the type of vehicle you will be arriving in, and possibly your license plate number. We are currently calling clients ahead of their appointment, then emailing a medical questionnaire or we will take medical notes for the patient over the phone. Fill out the questionnaire now. Please do not hesitate to call us with questions, 740-373-9696, or email us, [email protected].
Lastly, we will be changing our hospital hours until further notice to allow for proper rest for our staff and continued additional cleaning of the hospital. Our new hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will continue to be open Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Please stay tuned to our Facebook page, @mygmvh, and our website, www.mygreenmeadowvet.com, for updates and any future changes.
Again, we greatly thank you for your patience as we navigate through these changes. We want to maintain the level of care that you have expected from Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital during these changes. Our goal is to provide care while keeping in mind the health of our clients, staff and our families while we provide care for your pets.
