Dr. Jessica Smith Kidd
Veterinarian
Hi! I’m Dr. Jessica Kidd – veterinarian, mom, agriculture enthusiast, and the owner of Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital. I became a veterinarian because I can’t imagine a life that doesn’t involve caring for animals and supporting the people who love them. Every year I pursue continuing education in the areas of veterinary medicine that are growing and changing the fastest. I want to make sure my team and I can offer the most up-to-date care possible, and I work hard to create learning opportunities for my staff so we can grow together and continue serving our patients and clients at the highest level. One of my proudest accomplishments is the nonprofit organization I founded to expand access to needed veterinary services in our community. It will officially launch in early 2026, and I can’t wait to see the difference it will make for pets and families in our region.
When I’m not at the hospital, you can usually find me with my family – most likely in a barn or at a show ring. My oldest daughter recently moved to Mount Vernon, Ohio, where she works as a facilities manager at United Producers. My younger kids keep us very busy with their passion for showing feeder calves, breeding heifers, breeding lambs, and market lambs. Summers (and now winters!) revolve around animals, fairs, and plenty of time spent working together.
Outside of veterinary life and livestock shows, I love exploring new hiking areas with my kids and going to concerts with my husband. My family, my community, and my patients mean everything to me, and I’m grateful every day for the trust our clients place in Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital.
Craig
Practice Manager
I have been in management most of my life but am fairly new to the veterinary world. I’ve since discovered it is not only an interesting and unceasingly fluctuating environment, but I get to witness fascinating medical procedures and rescues daily. The staff here is wonderful to work with; they are dedicated, well trained, and personally invested in every single animal that comes through the doors.
I am married with two sons, am an avid beekeeper and part time musician, and share our home with dogs, cats, lizards, fish, a small flock of chickens and a tortoise. I enjoy spending time reading, practicing instruments, hiking, kayaking, playing chess, and, of course, spending time with my family.
Debbie
Bookkeeper
I began working at Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital during the spring of 1981 and my responsibilities have changed over the years. I am currently employed as the office bookkeeper, but my tenure allows me to be versatile and help out where I am needed. When I’m not working I enjoy cooking, and my co-workers enjoy the results of my time experimenting with recipes. I also enjoy collecting old cast iron items.
My family is important to me, and spending time with them is essential. My feathered and furry family welcome me home each day, including one bird, two dogs, and three cats.
Kathleen
Administration
My name is Kathleen and I help make the non-medical behind the scenes stuff work. There is an incredible amount of support work needed to run a veterinary hospital. I am amazed at the team work that makes Green Meadow so special. Every day is different and exciting! The work that goes into keeping our patients healthy and our clients happy is very rewarding and I am happy to be part of the team. In my spare time, I love to do anything crafty! This includes anything from knitting to woodwork. My only child is all grown up but we still spend lots of time together. We love to bake together and to play video games. I have two cats that I adopted in my first year at Green Meadow. They are so much fun!
Joyce
Receptionist
My name is Joyce and I started working in July 2016 as a receptionist. I enjoy greeting our clients and their pets when they walk through the door and assisting them with their needs. I was new in the world of veterinary medicine, and I find it very interesting!
My husband Paul and I have five children: Christine, Eric, Adam, Garret, and Matthew. We also enjoy our four cats: Buckeye, Phillip, Thomas, Amelia, and our turtle, Herbie.
I love watching my son Matthew play football, basketball, and track events. GO TIGERS!! My other children are adults and spending time and traveling with them as often as possible is precious to me. I’m a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan! I love watching the games with my family and friends. GO BUCKS!!
Emily
Receptionist
Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a Client Service Representative here at Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital, where I love being able to help support our clients and their pets every day. At home, I’m kept busy by my two dogs, Sully and Merlin, and my four cats—Maggie, Mya, Kevin, and Cannoli.
When I’m not at work, you can usually find me spending time with friends and family. I love going to concerts, getting out to go fishing, and hitting the trails for a good hike. Working with animals and the people who care about them is something I’m truly passionate about, and I’m grateful to be part of the Green Meadow team.
Danni
Receptionist
Hi, I’m Danni, the receptionist—and the friendly face ready to welcome you—as soon as you walk through the door! I take pride in making every visit feel warm and inviting for both our clients and their pets. I’ve been part of the Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital family on and off since my junior year of high school, creating many memories with wagging tails and the occasional kitten cuddle.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with minors in Chemistry and Biology, which means I not only love animals—I’ve spent years learning all about how they think, grow, and thrive. One of my favorite parts of the job is getting to know our clients and saying hello to every pet who stops by (yes, I absolutely talk to them like they understand me).
When I’m not behind the front desk, you can find me at home with my own little zoo: my dogs Cooper, Apollo, and Eustis, and my cat Abu—who is very aware that she runs the household.
I’m excited to help make your visit to Green Meadow feel friendly, smooth, and just a little bit fun!
Emma
Registered Veterinary Technician
Hi, I’m Emma! I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from Columbus State Community College and passed my boards shortly after. At work, I handle a bit of everything, from X-rays to blood draws, filling medications, surgery prep/assisting, placing IV catheters, the list goes on and on… but I especially love dentals and diagnostics.
I really try to make visits as positive and low-stress as possible, especially for nervous pets.
One of my favorite parts of the job is helping a sick patient recover and get to go home feeling healthy again.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, Taylor. We have three dogs and three cats who keep us very entertained.

My name is Meagan, and I’ve been in the medical/veterinary field for over 20 years. I love helping animals and people. Currently, I am a veterinary assistant and receptionist and help pet owners with their questions and appointments.
While there is a lot to be said for keeping track of files and handling day to day transactions, I love the medical side of this fast-paced, crazy world of veterinary medicine, too! There is always something new and interesting to learn. It’s so gratifying to help critters feel their very best!
Anna
Veterinary Assistant
Hi! I’m Anna, a Veterinary Assistant here at Green Meadow. I’ve always loved being around animals, and I feel lucky to spend my days helping care for them. At home, I have a dog named Benson, a cat named Smokey, and two guinea pigs, Pumba and Timon, who always keep life fun and lively.
When I’m not at work, I’m usually spending time with my pets — whether that’s taking Benson out for an adventure, relaxing with Smokey, or spoiling Pumba and Timon with treats and attention. My favorite color is pink!
I’m excited to meet you and your pets, and I’m always here to help make their visit as comfortable and positive as possible.
Ally
Pharmacy & Kennel Technician
My name is Ally, and I’ve been part of the Green Meadow team since 2023. As a Kennel Technician, I care for hospitalized and boarding pets by maintaining clean, comfortable spaces, managing daily feeding, sanitizing, exercise, and closely monitoring behavior to catch even the smallest changes in a pet’s condition. I also support our veterinary team as a Pharmacy Technician by preparing medications and running diagnostic lab tests. Our five house cats keep me on my toes, and I treat every animal with the same compassion and attention I’d want for my own.
