Dr. Jessica Smith Kidd
Veterinarian
I am from Marietta Ohio, and knew I wanted to return home after completing my veterinary degree at St George’s University. Dr. David Spindler gave me that opportunity at Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital and was a great mentor. As time went on, I got married to my husband Joe, and our family grew. I have three beautiful daughters that keep me busy when I’m not working. We have a French bulldog, Courtney, three cats, Tilly, Figs, and Ding, and four goats, Daisy, Buttercup, Sophia, and Dory. I am licensed as a veterinarian in Ohio and West Virginia. I am a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA), the West Virginia Veterinary Medical Association (WVVMA), and the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). I am training for veterinary acupuncture. I am excited to be learning a new form of treatment for my patients to help with pain management, inflammation, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and other conditions. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Joe and I love music and take in several concerts each year. We also enjoy spending time camping in the summer.
Craig
Practice Manager
I have been in management most of my life but am fairly new to the veterinary world. I’ve since discovered it is not only an interesting and unceasingly fluctuating environment, but I get to witness fascinating medical procedures and rescues daily. The staff here is wonderful to work with; they are dedicated, well trained, and personally invested in every single animal that comes through the doors.
I am married with two sons, am an avid beekeeper and part time musician, and share our home with dogs, cats, lizards, fish, and a small flock of chickens. I enjoy spending time reading, practicing instruments, hiking, kayaking, playing chess, and, of course, spending time with my family.
Debbie
Bookkeeper
I began working at Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital during the spring of 1981 and my responsibilities have changed over the years. I am currently employed as the office bookkeeper, but my tenure allows me to be versatile and help out where I am needed. When I’m not working I enjoy cooking, and my co-workers enjoy the results of my time experimenting with recipes. I also enjoy collecting old cast iron items.
My family is important to me, and spending time with them is essential. My feathered and furry family welcome me home each day, including one bird, three dogs, and four cats.
Kathleen

My name is Kathleen and I am new to the veterinary world. I am amazed at the team work that makes Green Meadow so special. Every day is different and exciting! The work that goes into keeping our patients healthy and our clients happy is very rewarding and I am happy to be part of the team. In my spare time, I love to do anything crafty! This includes anything from knitting to woodwork. My only child is all grown up but we still spend lots of time together. We love to bake together and to play video games. I have two black cats that are getting on in years. And I added two cats that I adopted in my first year at Green Meadow. They are so much fun!

Meagan
Veterinary Assistant
My name is Meagan, and I’ve been in the medical/veterinary field for over 20 years. I love helping animals and people. Currently, I am a veterinary assistant and receptionist and help pet owners with their questions and appointments.
While there is a lot to be said for keeping track of files and handling day to day transactions, I love the medical side of this fast-paced, crazy world of veterinary medicine, too! There is always something new and interesting to learn. It’s so gratifying to help critters feel their very best!
Christy

Hi my name is Christy, I am currently a student at Fort Frye High School. I am a vet assistant and I am new to the veterinary world. Animals have been such a big part of my life since I can remember. Being a part of the veterinary field has been a dream of mine ever since I was little and now I am beyond happy that I can live that dream out with some of the best people. I can not wait to see what the future holds for me at Green Meadow!
